Repair Technician – Fitness Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Assess, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various fitness equipment and related products.

• Conduct repairs on fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, massage chairs, and similar items.

• Construct products according to manufacturer specifications.

• Deliver outstanding customer service at clients' residences.

• Carry out final delivery, assembly, and/or repairs of consumer goods.

• Utilize personal transportation to travel to repair locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in evaluating, troubleshooting, analyzing, identifying, and repairing fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, massage chairs, and related products.

• Ability to read and understand manufacturer's manuals and repair instructions.

• Must have personal transportation to and from repair sites.

• Possess hand and power tools necessary for repairs.

• Demonstrated experience and mechanical skills to build products in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID), which can be obtained free at irs.gov.

• Adhere to insurance and vehicle registration requirements.

• DOT/MC numbers may be required for vehicles with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.

• Comply with state regulations regarding the vehicle used for work assignments.

• Successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.

• Clear MVR screening for driving contractors.

• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in using a mobile phone.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
