Renewals Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Present Airtable's vision while applying innovative strategies and negotiation techniques to reduce churn.

• Spot strategic opportunities during renewal periods to promote expansion.

• Take ownership of, lead, and manage the renewals process alongside the account team.

• Establish foundational procedures and playbooks for the Renewals Associate position.

• Engage with key decision-makers to uncover customer needs and obstacles.

• Maintain and provide an accurate rolling 90-day forecast of renewals within the territory.

• Negotiate and finalize renewal contracts in collaboration with the legal team.

• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities at the time of contract renewal.

• Create a renewal engagement playbook aimed at maximizing revenue retention.

• Work in partnership with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Deal Desk, Rev Ops, Biz Tech, Sales, Success, and Legal.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in a quota-bearing Post-Sales / Customer Success / Account Management role, ideally within an Enterprise SaaS environment.

• Proven negotiation abilities and a track record of closing substantial, complex contracts.

• Strong collaborative skills with successful experiences working alongside internal cross-functional partners (Rev Ops, Biz Tech) as well as customer-facing teams (Sales & Success).

• Capability and enthusiasm for strategically growing the business, including the development of new processes and initiatives.

• Self-driven and proactive team player with empathy, craftsmanship, and a growth-oriented mindset.

• Robust understanding of Enterprise SaaS applications and collaboration technologies.

• Consistent history of meeting personal and team objectives.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
