Renewal and Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more locations.

📋 Description

• Conducts plan benefit evaluations, interpretations, and systematic arrangements for customer service, claims, enrollment, billing, and reporting.

• Leverages Meritain’s proprietary system for the analytical coding of tailored plans.

• Formulates and implements strategies that align with client expectations and performance commitments.

• Provides consultation and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding intricate benefit administration.

• Suggests alternatives to reduce manual processing and any disruption to clients.

• Offers recommendations on plan design and processing in collaboration with clients.

• Evaluates benefit provisions for adherence to state and federal regulations.

• Reviews summary plan descriptions and associated client documentation.

• Collaborates on analyses and recommendations for complex account and benefit frameworks.

• Configures and maps client-specific benefits utilizing industry coding, such as ICD-10 and place of service.

• Gathers and evaluates customer feedback to enhance the renewal process.

• Utilizes Salesforce for cross-department communication and executive-level status updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in quality, renewals, client advocacy, and/or account management.

• Proven understanding of medical terminology.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with the flexibility to extend hours during peak periods.

• Proficiency in Salesforce.

• Familiarity with various data systems, including DOS systems.

• Capability to investigate and determine the root cause of issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• High school diploma or GED required.
