Renewal and Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of plan benefits, interpretation, and systematic configuration for customer service, claims, enrollment, billing, and reporting.

• Leverage Meritain’s proprietary system for the analytical coding of tailored plans.

• Create and implement strategies that align with client expectations and performance guarantees.

• Advise and consult with internal stakeholders regarding complex benefit administration.

• Suggest alternatives to reduce manual processing and minimize client disruption.

• Provide recommendations for plan design and processing tailored to client needs.

• Evaluate benefit provisions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Review summary plan descriptions and associated documents.

• Collaborate on recommendations for complex account and benefit structures.

• Implement system setups and map client benefits using industry-standard coding, including ICD-10, place of service, and healthcare reform.

• Analyze customer feedback to enhance the renewal process.

• Utilize Salesforce for cross-functional communication and reporting to executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in areas such as quality assurance, renewals, client advocacy, and/or account management.

• Proven understanding of medical terminology.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with the flexibility to extend hours during peak periods.

• Preference for candidates with 5+ years of healthcare experience in quality assurance, renewals, client advocacy, and/or account management.

• Previous experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Familiarity with various data systems, including DOS systems, is preferred.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
