Renewal and Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct plan benefit evaluations, interpretations, and systematic configurations for customer support, claims, enrollment, billing, and reporting.

• Leverage Meritain’s proprietary system for analytical coding tailored to customized healthcare plans.

• Create and implement strategies that align with client expectations and performance commitments.

• Provide consultation and guidance to internal stakeholders on intricate benefit administration matters.

• Propose options aimed at reducing manual processing and minimizing client disruption.

• Offer recommendations on plan design and processing tailored for clients.

• Evaluate benefit provisions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Review summary plan descriptions and associated documents.

• Collaborate on suggestions for intricate account and benefit frameworks.

• Establish and map client-specific benefits utilizing industry coding, including ICD-10 and the place of service.

• Collect and evaluate customer feedback to enhance the renewal process.

• Employ Salesforce for cross-departmental communication and executive-level status updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in quality assurance, renewals, client advocacy, and/or account management.

• Proven understanding of medical terminology.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility to extend hours during peak periods.

• Prior experience with Salesforce.

• Previous exposure to various data systems, including DOS systems.

• Capability to investigate and pinpoint the root cause of issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to stay adaptable while maintaining focus in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and succinctly.

• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• High school diploma or GED.
