This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Develop and manage the PayIt Outdoors release schedule.
β’ Collaborate with clients, engineering, DBE, product management, operations, development, and quality assurance teams.
β’ Plan and execute hotfixes and scheduled releases.
β’ Define the scope and objectives of releases.
β’ Oversee the complete release process, including User Acceptance and Production deployments as well as rollback plans.
β’ Organize and conduct release reviews.
β’ Ensure that all necessary work is included in the releases.
β’ Monitor branches and ensure merges take place after sprints.
β’ Communicate release schedules, status updates, and potential risks to stakeholders.
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation of release processes, configurations, dependencies, issues, and resolutions.
β’ Identify and mitigate risks that may impact software releases.
β’ Establish and enforce processes for change control and release management.
β’ Oversee the PayIt Outdoors incident response lifecycle, ensuring cross-functional coordination, resolution validation, closure, and process metrics.
β’ Design, build, and maintain Jira workflows, issue types, field configurations, permission schemes, automation rules, integrations, project settings, access controls, user roles, and boards.
β’ High integrity, drive, determination, strong aptitude, and team-oriented mindset.
β’ Excellent communication skills.
β’ Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and align business objectives, project aims, and deliverables.
β’ Experience or capability in software release planning, deployment, rollback plans, hotfixes, and change control.
β’ Understanding of User Acceptance and Production deployment activities.
β’ Ability to monitor branches and ensure post-sprint merges.
β’ Skill in identifying and mitigating risks associated with software releases.
β’ Capability to manage incident response lifecycles.
β’ Proficiency in Jira administration, including custom workflows, issue types, field configurations, permission schemes, automation rules, integrations, project settings, access control, user roles, and board configurations.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship, or a Canadian citizen or authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
