Relationship Manager – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Vanguard’s most intricate recordkeeping and investment-only plan sponsor relationships.

• Discover opportunities to enhance client experience, boost service delivery, and reinforce loyalty through consultative advice.

• Evaluate client requirements via strategic planning and high-value consultations.

• Suggest service, operational, and process improvements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Clearly communicate recommendations to senior client decision-makers.

• Direct the resolution of complicated client issues related to products, services, and processes.

• Create and execute innovative solutions for future challenges.

• Involve subject matter experts and promote cross-functional teamwork.

• Maintain expert-level understanding of Vanguard funds, products, services, and competitive landscape.

• Offer long-term strategic investment advice.

• Participate in enterprise initiatives and special projects.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of three years of experience in Financial Services and Relationship Management is preferred.

• Proven expertise in employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), rollover, participant engagement, retirement readiness, or related workplace solutions.

• Proficiency in recordkeeping (retirement plan administration) is essential.

• Demonstrated capability to establish senior/executive level relationships, navigate complex organizations, and manage uncertainty.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or a suitable combination of training and experience.

• Regulatory license and/or registration is required; specifically, Series 6 and 63 are mandatory.

• Must be a resident of the West Coast.
