This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for a designated portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients.
• Provide proactive, high-touch service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Anticipate client needs by offering coverage recommendations, risk alerts, and market insights.
• Conduct annual interactive reviews with clients and present renewal proposals.
• Analyze exposures, underwriting documents, loss history, and current coverages to pinpoint gaps.
• Guide clients on intricate risks, including high-value residences, fine art, collectibles, watercraft, aircraft, excess liability, and specialty lines.
• Evaluate inspection reports and offer guidance on loss prevention strategies.
• Stay updated on industry offerings, changes in carrier appetite, and trends within the HNW market.
• Introduce the Baldwin platform, encompassing employee benefits, commercial lines, and asset protection services as needed.
• Remarket existing programs and enhance market placement strategies.
• Build relationships with carriers and advocate for advantageous outcomes regarding complex risks, renewals, and claims.
• Accurately record policy activities in agency management systems.
• Adhere to established workflows, service standards, and compliance guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the client experience while managing a high-volume workload.
• An active Property & Casualty insurance license in the states where business is conducted, or the ability to obtain all necessary licenses within 90 days of hiring.
• At least 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
• Familiarity with HNW carrier contracts, underwriting criteria, and claims procedures.
• Capability to manage complex client relationships with professionalism, promptness, and discretion.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable delivering presentations to discerning clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems; experience with Epic is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional designations such as CPRIA, CPCU, CAPI, CPRM, CIC, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with UHNW clients, family offices, or a dedicated private client/PRM practice is preferred.
• Knowledge of specialty lines, including fine art, jewelry, watercraft, aviation, and excess/umbrella liability is preferred.
