This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver intricate support to a designated group of large, multifaceted clients.
• Oversee daily operational and client service functions.
• Supervise internal controls within the specialized corporate trust team focusing on CLO products.
• Collaborate with senior management and technical personnel to pinpoint enhancements in business processes, policies, and systems.
• Address complex administrative challenges and assist senior client personnel.
• Independently manage large clients and resolve intricate issues.
• Support current CLO accounts, encompassing billing, fee suggestions, transaction finalizations, cash and investment dealings, compliance oversight, debt service calculations, payment generation, and follow-up.
• Establish or assign issues in systems, prepare accounts for compliance evaluation, and address compliance discrepancies.
• Propose and submit new business for approval.
• Provide feedback to sales teams for accurate pricing of new business opportunities.
• Investigate marketing possibilities and new CLO products and services with management.
• Review legal documents for suitable operational mechanics.
• Negotiate document terms with internal legal, external legal, and compliance teams.
• Ensure cash processing and procedures align with newly onboarded products.
• Design and lead training for CLO products and services.
• Act as a subject matter expert on projects and system testing.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of more efficient processes.
• Engage in cross-training for other specialized corporate trust roles.
• Offer indirect management of junior associates.
• Execute other assigned duties.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience in the CLO sector.
• Profound knowledge of corporate bank loans.
• Familiarity with bank debt structures, including CLOs, Interval Funds, ABLs, and Private Debt.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire trade cycle, including settlements, closings, loan administration, and loan agency.
• Strong client relationship management abilities.
• Capability to deliver positive client experiences through associate engagement, technology, workflows, and processing.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Robust operational knowledge of general corporate trust processes and procedures.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Effective networking skills and the ability to establish strategic contacts.
• Ability to drive change through business planning.
• Self-directed and proactive.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of credit products and markets.
• Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) or Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC) is preferred.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
