This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +2 more states.
• Drive strategic management for new clients by developing sales strategies and providing payment and technology solutions in intricate environments.
• Take ownership of the strategy and performance for a designated portfolio of government accounts, encompassing account planning, client engagement, contract execution, retention, renewals, revenue enhancement, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients and new prospects, fostering senior-level relationships and coordinating internal resources to address invoicing, service, operational, and other complex client requirements.
• Identify and promote expansion opportunities through consultative discovery, solution positioning, collaboration with product and sales experts, proposal development, negotiation, and contracting.
• Spearhead pursuit efforts for new state and local government accounts within the designated region, including prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, presentations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closure.
• Ensure accurate tracking of account, pipeline, activity, and revenue data in the customer relationship management system.
• Continuously assess and refine account plans, priorities, and forecasts.
• Achieve and surpass role-specific goals for quota attainment and revenue generation.
• Over 5 years of experience in complex solution sales, relationship management, or client-facing business development, including accountability for account strategies and plans.
• More than 3 years of experience managing relationships with senior leaders or executive-level client stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing an account portfolio that includes contract renewals, client retention, revenue growth, and the identification of expansion opportunities.
• Proficient in utilizing customer relationship management tools to document client interactions, manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and monitor performance against sales targets.
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
• Relevant experience in government or public sector account management or sales.
• Background in the payments industry or experience selling financial or technology solutions.
• Familiarity with working in a large, matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of Fiserv systems, products, or operating environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50%.
