This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate in team settings or work independently to provide regulatory affairs consulting services.
• Organize tasks and outline steps to achieve project goals.
• Deliver high-quality results that meet the expectations of project team leaders and clients.
• Take on the role of Project Lead for smaller projects or Work Stream Lead for larger initiatives.
• Plan and initiate projects, oversee project activities, and manage forecasting, financial entries, and invoicing when acting as Project Lead.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring precise project reporting.
• Ensure project teams meet the quality and timeliness expectations of clients.
• Identify potential risks, escalate issues, ensure compliance with project-specific training, and oversee project finances.
• Ensure that project teams comprehend and operate within the contract scope.
• Spot opportunities for changes in scope and additional business.
• Conduct project close-out procedures.
• Apply Parexel consulting models and methodologies.
• Offer technical and business consulting services within your area of expertise.
• Work closely with colleagues and clients to address technical and process-related challenges.
• Evaluate client needs and create effective processes and solutions.
• Provide assigned work and services that align with client expectations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions with the support of senior colleagues.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Recognize follow-up business opportunities and changes in project scope.
• Develop an industry network and share potential business leads.
• Engage in project scoping discussions and assist in proposal preparation.
• Complete timesheets, expense reports, maintain CVs, ensure training compliance, archive deliverables, and participate in internal initiatives.
• Identify self-development activities and sustain relevant industry or scientific/technical association memberships.
• Several years of experience in a related industry environment.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific or Technical Discipline.
• An Advanced Degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• A client-focused attitude towards work.
• Strong results orientation.
• Skills in teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficiency in consulting practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in the local language along with a comprehensive working knowledge of English.
