This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding security procedures and audit compliance.
• Address external audits for SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST 800-53.
• Assist in managing threats and vulnerabilities.
• Perform regular Identity Access Reviews.
• Ensure that application security procedures align with business requirements and protect information.
• Supervise the implementation of access controls to restrict systems, data, and program access to authorized and trained users.
• Oversee the destruction of highly sensitive confidential information in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Design and enact comprehensive security procedures.
• Manage the security administrator team to guarantee adherence to client security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with program security mandates, including personnel, physical, and administrative security systems and procedures.
• Coordinate corporate security initiatives to align with client, government, and company security policies and procedures.
• Verify compliance with specific policies and governmental regulations.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced personnel.
• Develop, manage, and facilitate security education programs.
• Investigate or oversee the investigation of losses and security breaches, recommending corrective measures.
• Implement approved corrective actions and prepare summaries for senior management review.
• Research technological advancements to continuously enhance and synchronize security solutions with industry and company standards.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a HIPAA environment, preferably with Medicaid.
• Familiarity with corporate-level security systems and implementation processes.
• Knowledge of corporate and government security regulations.
• Experience with company security software products.
• Understanding of domain structures, user authentication, user profiles, and digital signatures.
• Proficient in presentation and business solutions software.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with team members, customers, management, and support staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for designing, creating, and testing security systems.
• Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor less experienced personnel.
• Strong research abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly pivot between tasks.
• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
