Registered Practical Nurse, RPN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Participate in scheduled community visits to attend to patient needs within your professional scope.

• Deliver ethical and safe nursing care at all times.

• Employ suitable assessment tools and techniques to evaluate the individual needs of patients.

• Implement and consistently monitor care plans, making adjustments as necessary.

• Foster patient engagement through a collaborative approach that builds rapport and trust.

• Maintain and periodically update professional patient records related to encounters and care plans.

• Provide care for patients of all ages with varying complexities in home and community environments.

• Collaborate with RNs for the management of more complex patient cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be registered with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.

• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential.

• Experience in providing community care is considered an asset.

• Dependability and adaptability are necessary traits.

• Must be willing to travel to and from patient residences within a specified area.

• Experience working with vulnerable populations is required.

• Availability for on-call coverage, including after-hours, to ensure patient safety and meet care needs.
