Registered Practical Nurse, RPN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Participate in organized community visits to address patient needs within your professional scope.

• Deliver ethical and safe nursing care to all patients.

• Utilize appropriate assessment tools and techniques to evaluate patients’ unique requirements.

• Implement and continuously assess care plans, making adjustments as necessary.

• Foster patient engagement by employing a collaborative approach that builds rapport and trust.

• Maintain and update professional records pertaining to patient interactions and care plans.

• Provide care for patients of diverse ages and varying complexities of care needs in their homes and communities.

• Assist patients in remaining comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses for patients with more complex needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

• Experience in providing community care is preferred.

• Demonstrated reliability and flexibility.

• Willingness to travel to and from patient homes within a designated area.

• Experience working with vulnerable populations is essential.

• Availability for on-call duties, including after-hours, to ensure patient safety and meet care needs.
