Registered Nurse, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Employ the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver tailored nursing care to residents.

• Collaborate with residents, families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members to strategize, execute, and assess care.

• Operate within the full spectrum of nursing expertise and adhere to age- and population-specific standards.

• Offer preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, resident assessments, education, care coordination, and nursing interventions.

• Act as the charge nurse when designated.

• Assign suitable tasks to both licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.

• Assist delegates to ensure safe and dependable resident care while addressing care and service issues.

• Comply with the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, professional nursing standards, and the ANA Code of Ethics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Part-time position available.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Currently possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the location where nursing practice occurs and/or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

• Required to obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.

• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, such as CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
