Registered Nurse, General Ambulatory Services, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, patient-focused care through telephone triage and clinical evaluations.

• Conduct telephone triage by applying established protocols and nursing expertise.

• Evaluate symptoms, prioritize patient requirements, and identify suitable care or follow-up actions.

• Offer patient education, support, and reassurance.

• Record patient interactions in Epic EMR in real-time.

• Elevate urgent or emergency cases according to established policies.

• Liaise with on-call providers, clinic teams, and patients to maintain continuity of care.

• Employ the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care.

• Monitor and assess practice to guarantee safe patient care.

• Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practices.

• Mentor and guide colleagues, students, and members of the healthcare team.

• Execute additional tasks as required or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license; multi-state compact is a must.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience, with a robust background in triage, ER, Med-Surg, and/or Primary Care.

• Proficient in Epic EMR and remote communication technologies.

• Exceptional assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

• Strong skills in communication, documentation, and time management.

• Self-driven and adept at working independently in a remote setting.

• Associate degree is mandatory; BSN is preferred.

• Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing Program.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate is required upon hire.

• Licensed Registered Nurse eligible for NH.

• Must have reliable internet access and a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions.

• Eligible candidates should reside in one of the designated compact eligible states.
