Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Review OASIS assessments for thoroughness, relevance, and adherence to federal and state regulations.

• Ensure precise ICD-10 coding and sequencing in accordance with each patient’s medical conditions and co-morbidities.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address documentation and data integrity concerns.

• Monitor visit utilization and identify potential financial risks or underutilization for clinical management's attention.

• Recognize and report trends that influence agency outcomes and process metrics.

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits alongside clinical team members.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives.

• Keep updated with best practices through continuous education and professional development.

• Execute other duties as necessary to support patient services.

• Provide home health care to assist patients in their recovery at home and help prevent rehospitalizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current RN license in California in good standing.

• 1–2 years of experience in clinical home health.

• Familiarity with OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.

• Understanding of federal regulations and state licensing requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to work autonomously and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.

• Competence in using computer systems and electronic health records.

• Up-to-date CPR certification from AHA.

• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

• OASIS certification (COS-C) (Preferred).

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification (Preferred).
