Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS assessments for thoroughness, suitability, and adherence to federal and state regulations.

• Ensure precise ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on each patient's medical conditions and co-morbidities.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address documentation and data integrity challenges.

• Track visit utilization and alert clinical management to potential financial risks or underutilization.

• Identify and relay trends that affect agency outcomes and process measures.

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits alongside clinical team members.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives.

• Remain up-to-date with best practices through continuous education and professional development.

• Execute additional duties as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Californian RN license in good standing.

• 1–2 years of clinical experience in home health.

• Familiarity with OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.

• Understanding of federal regulations and state licensure requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in computer systems and electronic health records.

• Current CPR certification from AHA.

• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

• OASIS certification (COS-C) — preferred.

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification — preferred.
