Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS assessments for completeness, suitability, and adherence to federal and state regulations

• Ensure precise ICD-10 coding and sequencing tailored to each patient's medical conditions and co-morbidities

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address documentation and data integrity challenges

• Monitor visit utilization and highlight potential financial risks or underutilization to clinical management

• Identify and convey trends that affect agency outcomes and process metrics

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability evaluations with clinical team members

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives

• Remain updated on best practices through continuous education and professional growth

• Execute other responsibilities as needed for patient services

⛳️ Requirements

• Active RN license in California in good standing

• 1–2 years of clinical experience in home health

• Proficient understanding of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding

• Familiarity with federal regulations and state licensing requirements

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight

• Competence in computer systems and electronic health records

• Current CPR certification from AHA

• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle

• OASIS certification (COS-C) is a desirable asset

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification is a desirable asset
