Registered Dietitian, Obesity & Weight Management, PT/FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth nutrition assessments through virtual/telehealth consultations.

• Offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and associated chronic conditions.

• Create personalized nutrition care plans.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling utilizing motivational interviewing and behavior-change techniques.

• Enhance patient engagement through effective communication.

• Address clinical concerns as necessary.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and care coordinators.

• Engage in care planning and case reviews as required.

• Record encounters, assessments, and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Utilize telehealth and patient engagement tools proficiently.

• Participate in the development of clinical programs, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary care innovations as opportunities arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential in good standing.

• Active Licensed Dietitian (LD/LDN) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CD/CDN) license in the states of practice.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or a related field.

• Clinical or ambulatory experience providing nutrition counseling or MNT (required).

• Experience with obesity, weight management, chronic conditions, and telehealth (preferred).

• Strong skills in patient-centered counseling and documentation.

• Ability to work comfortably in interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency with EHRs and telehealth platforms.

• Access to reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

• Adherence to HIPAA compliance and licensure standards.
