This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with insurance brokers and benefits consultants.
• Act as a trusted advisor providing solutions that mitigate risk, enhance cost efficiency, and offer small to midsize businesses access to large-firm healthcare options.
• Inform broker partners about Pareto’s self-insurance model.
• Assist in identifying employers who would benefit from Pareto’s healthcare benefits solutions.
• Evaluate the needs of prospective employers and articulate how cost-control programs can reduce risk and generate savings.
• Develop and implement a regional sales strategy.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with brokers and deliver presentations to groups.
• Partner with account management, underwriting, and marketing teams to provide customized solutions.
• Support small and midsize businesses in accessing sustainable and affordable healthcare options.
• Over 5 years of experience as a top performer in self-insurance, self-funded benefits, stop-loss insurance, alternative funding, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants.
• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• A proactive mindset with a proven history of achieving and surpassing sales goals.
• Capability to swiftly convert data sets into clear insights that inform decisions and drive impactful results.
• Well-established broker network and effective consultative selling skills.
• Strong capabilities in business development and relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Must be willing to travel at least 50% within the designated territory and occasionally for Pareto events.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, both currently and in the future.
