This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a key co-leader in the Sales Region, implementing and communicating the Zoetis Petcare strategy.
• Deliver exceptional customer and scientific support to secure a sustainable competitive edge.
• Enhance Zoetis's professional and scientific reputation, representing the company credibly within the veterinary community.
• Participate in and contribute to select professional organization meetings.
• Work collaboratively across functions with marketing and other stakeholders to shape business strategies and develop tactics.
• Partner with the Petcare VPSLT on strategies and tactics aimed at improving VPS team performance and efficiency.
• Assist in leading, developing, and executing short- and long-term VPS strategies and policies.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to manage the annual Regional Business Plan and strategically allocate VPS resources.
• Establish strong relationships with the Regional Sales Director, Area Business Managers, and Regional Sales Enablement partner.
• Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians acting as medical advisors to both the sales force and customers.
• Dedicate 60% or more of your time to field rides and coaching the regional VPS team.
• Conduct three in-car rides with PSV and sales colleagues, involving customer events and coaching.
• Hold the team accountable for meeting objectives, performance standards, metrics, and appraisals.
• Ensure that Veterinary Professional Services aligns with Zoetis's pharmaceutical business strategies and offers technical support.
• Identify opportunities to utilize VPS team skills for both internal and external customers.
• Foster a positive team culture grounded in Zoetis's vision, core beliefs, and leadership behaviors.
• Implement the Regional Speaker Management Strategy.
• Successfully launch new products and service offerings.
• Manage operating expenses, Zoetis assets, expense reports, and compliance with travel and entertainment policies.
• Recruit external candidates and develop internal talent to enhance engagement and succession planning.
• Leverage VPS competencies and individual development plans.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to direct reports.
• Complete an Individual Development Plan successfully and integrate feedback received.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or its equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of experience in clinical practice, academia, or research.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and capacity for collaboration across organizations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive culture, performance, and people development.

• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems).
• Skills in project management.
