
Regional Trauma Sales Associate – Central/Mid Atlantic Regions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +16 more states.
• Promote Stryker Trauma products to fulfill customer requirements.
• Establish yourself as the go-to trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Organize and sort materials during consultations in the operating room and emergency room.
• Oversee and maintain product inventory levels.
• Offer product guidance and training to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Act as the primary backup contact for Sales Representatives and Associates within the territory.
• Successfully complete the Sales Associate training program.
• Attend surgeries involving Stryker Trauma products, ensuring product availability and instructing surgeons on usage and functionality.
• Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer service and foster customer relationships.
• Identify new customer needs and work with the Sales Representative to develop appropriate responses.
• Acquire knowledge of new products as they are introduced.
• Execute sales plans and marketing strategies effectively.
• Customize promotional messaging, provide product selection advice, respond to functionality inquiries, and distinguish Stryker products from competitors.
• Coordinate with the manager and sales team regarding on-call case coverage.
• Develop a foundational understanding of sales requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to AdvaMed and company business principles, laws, regulations, and policies.
• Assist in resolving account-related issues.
• Market product lines to customers as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
• Participate in sales meetings and professional association events outside of regular business hours as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of both).
• 1-2 years of proven success in sales or experience in the medical industry; experience in Trauma/Ortho Sales is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of current office technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite and databases.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Experience in developing relationships with surgeons and hospitals in relevant areas is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 80-90% of the time.
• Ability to work on an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to comply with regulatory, accreditation, licensure, federal, state, and local requirements as well as company policies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of information.
