Regional Technical Manager – Refrigeration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute the long-term upstream sales strategy in designated territories by providing insulation technical leadership and facilitating product specification and market penetration.

• Build and maintain a customer base of mechanical engineers, specifiers, owners, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and increase market share within the refrigeration sector.

• Focus on supermarket chains and other significant contributors to the refrigerated business.

• Act as an insulation technical authority for users across the assigned regions.

• Offer guidance to enhance system performance and ensure compliance with relevant codes.

• Increase understanding of products, implementation of solutions, and market presence within the commercial refrigeration arena.

• Provide specialized knowledge regarding products, applications, codes, and associated subjects.

• Inform customers about Armacell products through demonstrations and presentations.

• Convert market and customer requirements into technical specifications for the Marketing team.

• Supply insights on competitive market conditions concerning alternative materials and competitor activities.

• Facilitate technical training programs for applications and certify contractors and supervisors at job sites.

• Participate in project site visits to support clients with project execution, applications training, demonstrations, and advisory services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field is required.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in territory sales within the HVAC, plumbing, construction, or equipment sectors; familiarity with the refrigeration sector is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the bid/specification process for commercial, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and industrial markets.

• Capable of interpreting mechanical drawings to determine product applications and equipment.

• Willingness to travel up to 65% of the time.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or a comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
