Regional Technical Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development programs for regional and subregional fields, encompassing biology plans, protocols, trials, data analysis, and reporting.

• Establish objectives for field trials programs and convert results into concise summaries and presentations.

• Provide strategic portfolio advice to the business utilizing technical expertise and insights from field data.

• Collaborate with regional teams, agronomists, and external stakeholders, including research institutes and universities, to ensure effective, market-relevant product positioning.

• Partner with regulatory and data teams to produce high-quality datasets that support decision-making and product registration.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to technical marketing and service teams.

• Keep track of competitor advancements to pinpoint opportunities for differentiation.

• Monitor and relay relevant competitor technology developments, advocating for opportunities to differentiate FMC’s portfolio and enhance customer value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in agriculture or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the agricultural industry.

• Strong project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and budget oversight.

• Proven skills in crop management, field trials, experimental design, and data analysis.

• Good knowledge of EU BAD requirements and experience in generating BAD-compliant data.

• Comprehensive understanding of crop protection, crop management techniques, and emerging technologies.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout Europe during peak seasons for field trial visits.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
