This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and execute strategic staffing initiatives for each market during routine planning cycles.
• Establish weekly staffing targets for drivers and warehouses, adjusting internal labor capacity to accommodate varying demand.
• Enhance staffing costs while maintaining service quality.
• Analyze workforce performance trends utilizing dashboards and historical data.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings, providing recommendations to leadership.
• Organize recurring labor planning meetings with market leaders.
• Review staffing forecasts, address discrepancies, and align corrective measures.
• Collaborate weekly with Talent Acquisition on staffing objectives and hiring needs.
• Highlight market staffing-to-plan performance and supply data for regional leadership accountability.
• Generate reports and documentation for the Monthly Operation Review.
• Prepare performance reports against key labor metrics, including reasons for variances.
• Work in partnership with operations leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Corporate Supply Chain Leadership, IT, Data Science, and Supply Chain Network Planning.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Workforce Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate project plans, lead cross-functional discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders across various business units.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, as well as proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience in analyzing workforce or supply chain data and presenting actionable insights to leadership.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to create PowerPoint presentations and convey information to higher-level leadership.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related Business field, or 5 years of relevant experience leading operational teams in a dynamic production environment.
• Familiarity with Workforce Management systems and forecasting tools such as Kronos or Blue Yonder is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Sigma, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing workforce or operational data.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker and advanced Excel functions is advantageous.
