
Regional Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee a technical service team that delivers professional and technical support for Clinical Lab/Transfusion Medicine product sales.
β’ Engage directly with customers to assess their satisfaction with field performance and enhance customer relationships.
β’ Organize and relay field-related issues to customers and the relevant QuidelOrtho divisions.
β’ Ensure that customer feedback is addressed and communicated effectively.
β’ Collaborate with local Sales management to align Ortho Care functions with Regional Sales objectives.
β’ Evaluate and communicate local activities that support regional sales targets, customer retention and growth, and teamwork between Sales and Ortho Care.
β’ Manage a team of approximately 10+ Field Engineers and Senior Field Engineers.
β’ Provide performance evaluations and ensure adherence to company and safety policies.
β’ Recruit, train, and mentor new hires in the region.
β’ Coordinate service, maintenance, modifications, implementations, and equipment training.
β’ Work alongside Area Sales Directors to maintain and expand business and create strategies to achieve or surpass targets.
β’ Plan and implement regional activities that align with divisional and company objectives.
β’ Collaborate with Learning & Development to enhance productivity, develop talent, and support organizational talent sharing.
β’ Fulfill other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Maintain availability to customers and work groups outside of regular business hours.
β’ BA/BS Degree in Business Management, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent 10 years of field service experience.
β’ Over 10 years of direct experience in a field environment, supporting hardware, software, and/or applications at client locations.
β’ Demonstrated success in organizational development and field service management.
β’ Exceptional skills in people management and development.
β’ Experience in Marketing, Service Planning and Administration, Product Management, or similar roles.
β’ Advanced listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
β’ Must remain accessible at all times to customers, direct reports, management, and relevant workgroups via company-provided phone and email.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, including weekends and evenings, by plane and car.
β’ This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship at this time.
β’ Must possess a valid driver's license.
β’ Must own and maintain a vehicle suitable for travel to customer locations and airports.
β’ Must be physically capable of traveling up to 75% of the time.
β’ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
β’ Ability to work independently in a home office setting.
β’ Ability to meet specified vision, mobility, and physical requirements.
