This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Supervise and assist Service Managers and technicians in their daily operations within a designated region.
• Create and execute operational procedures and guidelines for customer repair orders, installations, and preventive maintenance visits.
• Offer direction and support to Service Managers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
• Oversee training processes and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Set goals and objectives to satisfy both current and future service demands.
• Ensure that service billing efficiency meets or exceeds 75%.
• Measure and enhance technician utilization to reach or surpass 85%.
• Resolve service and warranty issues promptly.
• Analyze and ensure the profitability of planned maintenance programs.
• Guarantee that training targets are met and maintained.
• Address concerns with key customers and collaborate with customer groups to fulfill service requirements.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required, or equivalent years of experience are necessary.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in field service or operations is required.
• Preferably, prior experience with material handling or similar equipment is desirable.
• Exceptional communication, planning, negotiating, troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in leading and managing teams while exhibiting a flexible and adaptable work style is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and people management capabilities, including proficient written and verbal communication skills, are required.
• Analytical problem-solving skills both independently and in team settings are needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a preference for strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel, is important.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%–75% is required.
