Regional Security Leader – Northeast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily operations across roughly 5–12 client project locations in the Northeast and Midwest regions.

• Direct project initiations and stabilizations for new client locations.

• Mentor, develop, and oversee Site Security Coordinators, Site Logistics Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Access Control Officers.

• Manage regional staffing strategies, scheduling, and resource distribution.

• Act as Sitemetric's Qualified Manager/Agent/Principal for private security licensing.

• Ensure adherence to state licensing regulations, company policies, and client commitments.

• Perform site audits, security drills, and risk evaluations.

• Lead investigations into incidents and enforce corrective measures.

• Monitor incident trends, reporting metrics, and performance indicators.

• Create post orders, SOPs, communication strategies, risk mitigation plans, vulnerability assessments, and security protocols.

• Facilitate communication between field operations and the corporate Security & Safety team.

• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, Technology, and other Regional Leaders on integrated security initiatives.

• Serve as the main regional client liaison for security-related concerns.

• Assist with Site Specific Security Plans and client kickoff meetings.

• Identify and pursue new security business, contract expansions, and upsell possibilities.

• Cultivate executive-level client relationships.

• Develop and deliver job-specific security training while aiding onboarding and professional development.

• Oversee the regional budget and billable utilization.

• Achieve KPI targets for audits, customer satisfaction, safety, and revenue growth.

• Address incidents, emergencies, and high-priority client issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in security management, law enforcement, or private security operations.

• At least 2 years in a security leadership position managing multi-site or regional security operations.

• In-depth knowledge of Ohio state security regulations and licensing requirements.

• Proven success in leading multi-site or regional security teams with budget responsibility.

• Exceptional leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Established ability to foster client and internal partner relationships while promoting security-related business growth.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and incident management or scheduling software.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the region (50–75%) and respond to urgent site requirements.

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug tests.

• Must fulfill Ohio's Qualifying Agent requirements and complete necessary training and examinations for certification.

• Professional certifications in training, security, project management, or compliance are preferred.

• Experience in construction or industrial settings is strongly preferred.

• Previous experience with Ohio Qualified Manager/Security Agent licensing is preferred.

• Background in construction, law enforcement, or physical security industries is preferred.

• Familiarity with access control, incident reporting, and electronic security systems is preferred.
