This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and execute strategic business plans aimed at achieving or surpassing quarterly and yearly sales objectives.
• Focus on high-value opportunities and actively oversee territory performance.
• Conduct discovery discussions to grasp client requirements and suggest customized solutions.
• Ensure continuous customer satisfaction and foster strong partnerships.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product lines, their applications, and competitive advantages.
• Oversee all stages of the sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up.
• Keep precise and timely records in Salesforce.com.
• Utilize Power BI to evaluate territory performance, project revenue, and facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Identify opportunities for environmental monitoring projects and outline project scope.
• Work collaboratively with the Project Team to create accurate quotes.
• Coordinate with Projects, Service, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Address client concerns and develop case studies and technical materials.
• Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events.
• Travel 50–80% within the assigned region to cultivate a robust local network.
• Assess internal processes and contribute to operational excellence and efficiency.
• Manage an existing customer portfolio across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
• Market particle counters, microbial samplers, environmental monitoring solutions, consumables, and services.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical, engineering, or life sciences field.
• 3–5 years of direct B2B sales experience in capital equipment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or cleanroom manufacturing sectors.
• Strong technical acumen with the capability to translate complex product features into client-centered solutions.
• Residence within the designated territory (Texas highly preferred).
• Willingness to travel 50–80% across TX, OK, LA, and AR.
• Proficiency in sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Korn Ferry).
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, including Salesforce.com.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to autonomously manage a remote territory.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first approach.
• Knowledge of sterile pharmaceutical regulations (cGMP, FDA, USP, ISO standards).
• Familiar with PDA, ISPE, IEST, and ASTM standards.
• Experience working in a remote, home-office setting with high self-discipline.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery to delivery and invoicing.
• Ability to sit, stand, and utilize a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be necessary.
