This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of DePuy Synthes sales strategies, operations, activities, and budgets within the designated geographic region.
• Propel sales for the DePuy Synthes Trauma portfolio while surpassing sales targets and objectives.
• Execute selling strategies and develop strategic sales plans.
• Exhibit extensive product and procedural knowledge, clinical excellence, product expertise, and experience with new product introductions.
• Recruit, hire, and retain proficient sales professionals throughout the region.
• Provide performance management, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the sales team.
• Collaborate with Consultants to establish and reach territory goals, enhancing patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Secure new accounts and surgeon relationships and support Consultants in introducing new technologies within existing accounts.
• Monitor healthcare market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data, and purchasing processes.
• Manage a product portfolio while overseeing sales, growth, income, profitability, assets, and budgets.
• Administer regional business expenses with fiscal responsibility.
• Cultivate relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and associations to uncover opportunities and foster collaboration.
• Engage in compliance activities and uphold integrity, ethics, training, and relevant policies and regulations.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Finance.
• MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent business and/or leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in management, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is preferred.
• Proven leadership capability, including the ability to guide through change.
• Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to deliver impactful sales presentations that yield positive outcomes.
• Clinical excellence in procedures, product expertise, and experience with new product introductions.
• Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to leverage customer data and insights to influence the purchasing process.
• Capacity to mentor and develop field sales talent.
• A history of success in a complex organizational setting and enterprise-level decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management, along with documented sales accomplishments.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel extensively (30%–50%).
• Must reside in the current geographic area or be willing to relocate.
