This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales performance by overseeing, coordinating, and leading the sales team within a specific geographic area.
• Define and communicate a vision for the region that aligns with the organization's goals.
• Establish, convey, and track the progress of a comprehensive business plan.
• Proactively identify and address challenges to success while managing resources and efforts.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key customers, professionals, and both internal and external partners.
• Manage business operations and administrative functions.
• Ensure the fair and consistent application of staff policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the RVP and internal stakeholders on customer-centric operational systems, asset management, and field training.
• Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the territory alongside a corresponding business plan.
• Create account-specific business plans and solutions tailored to local market conditions and customer objectives.
• Monitor and communicate business metrics to boost productivity and enhance performance.
• Share best practices throughout the organization.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members and partners accountable for their performance.
• Assess strategies, resource distribution, profitability, business outcomes, and the achievement of customer goals.
• Adjust and refine processes when targets are missed or new opportunities present themselves.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide daily supervision of Associate Territory Managers, Territory Managers, and Distributorships.
• Candidate must be a resident of California.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proven success in selling within the managed healthcare or third-party payer environments is advantageous.
• Experience in medical fields, particularly in calling on physician offices and hospitals, is a plus.
• Strong articulation skills, demonstrating poise, thoughtful analysis, and sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Competence in presenting to both individuals and larger groups.
• Exceptional technical knowledge related to product specifics and surgical procedures is beneficial.
• Capability to advise management on policy and procedural matters.
• Must be able to lift and transport products and materials to customer locations repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to lift approximately 20–30 pounds.
• Willingness to travel within the territory by various means, including planes and cars, approximately 90% of the time.
• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required for car travel.
