This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Channel Manager to comprehend initiatives and formulate a territory action plan.
• Gain insight into Water-Right, Master Water Conditioning, and AO Pro products and their applications.
• Reach out to current and potential users of water treatment products to influence their equipment and service purchases.
• Provide support to existing customers and attract new leads through on-site technical and resource training sessions.
• Attend and assist at industry and customer events within the designated region.
• Achieve sales and expense goals as outlined in the annual budget.
• Aid in applying and troubleshooting water treatment solutions while delivering in-field support.
• Engage in monthly reviews and planning meetings.
• Promptly follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer concerns.
• Expand A. O. Smith Water Treatment’s customer base and enhance existing customers through in-field support, training, and coaching.
• Collect voice-of-customer feedback to contribute to the development of new programs and solutions.
• Support the Wholesale Channel and affiliated brands.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential water treatment is preferred.
• WQA Certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Previous experience in a water-related or adjacent industry is beneficial.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
• Strong technical aptitude and business insight.
• Comfortable and willing to speak on camera (Zoom, Teams) and in front of live audiences.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle suitable for travel throughout the territory.
• Capable of planning, adhering to timelines, managing multiple tasks, and collaborating effectively.
• Results-driven with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
