This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of Johnson & Johnson Foot & Ankle sales strategies, operations, activities, and budgets within the designated geographic area.
• Drive sales efforts to meet goals and objectives while enhancing customer and patient satisfaction.
• Develop and implement effective selling strategies and strategic sales plans.
• Exhibit thorough product and procedural knowledge, clinical excellence, product proficiency, and experience in introducing new products.
• Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse and qualified team of sales professionals throughout the region.
• Ensure the team leverages market data tools for customer targeting, business planning, and pipeline management.
• Offer performance management, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the sales team.
• Collaborate with consultants to establish and achieve territorial objectives while prioritizing patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and cultivate surgeon relationships.
• Assist consultants in expanding existing accounts with innovative technologies and pinpoint opportunities with key surgeons, accounts, and associations.
• Manage a product portfolio with accountability for sales, growth, profitability, asset management, and budgetary objectives.
• Exercise fiscal responsibility in managing regional business expenses.
• Uphold integrity, ethics, compliance, and active participation in relevant initiatives, programs, trainings, and activities.
• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, compliance program policies, and the Johnson & Johnson Business Code of Conduct.
• A BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Finance is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience is essential.
• At least 2 years of experience in management, coaching, or mentoring is required.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to navigate through change effectively.
• Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver impactful sales presentations.
• Clinical and procedural excellence, product expertise, and experience with new product introductions are vital.
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to utilize customer data to influence the buying process.
• Capability to mentor and develop field sales talent effectively.
• A proven track record of success in a complex organizational environment and decision-making with an enterprise mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management, with documented sales achievements.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
• Willingness to travel 30%–50% is necessary.
• Candidates must reside in the current geographic area or be open to relocation.
• Previous experience in the Foot & Ankle market is preferred.
• Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is desirable.
• An MBA is preferred.
