
Regional Sales Manager, Biologics – South Central US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Manage and direct Biologics business operations within a designated territory, reporting to the Biologics Regional Vice President.
• Supervise distributor sales outcomes, conduct sales force training, manage relationships with hospitals and GPOs, handle pricing and promotions, foster surgeon connections, and optimize distribution.
• Advocate for the on-label application of the Biologics portfolio to physicians and healthcare providers in clinical, office, and operating room environments.
• Act as Orthofix’s primary Biologics authority for distributors, surgeons, hospitals, and industry contacts.
• Continually enhance technical and sales capabilities.
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge of the Orthofix biologics range and the bone graft substitute market.
• Implement directives and address requests from the BRVP.
• Visit physician offices and hospital accounts to promote and support Biologics sales.
• Design and execute business strategies to meet or surpass Biologics sales targets.
• Engage in workshops, trade exhibitions, sales gatherings, and company meetings.
• Execute educational programs for representatives and clinicians, including speaker engagements and in-office or hospital in-services.
• Deliver outstanding pre-sale and post-sale customer service.
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel, tissue bank partners, and team members to ensure smooth sales transitions to the appropriate representative.
• Attend and complete home-office and online training sessions.
• Maintain records in line with company policies.
• Assist the BRVP with distribution optimization and business strategy development.
• Travel approximately 80% within the territory using planes, cars, and other transportation methods.
• Candidates must reside near a major airport within the geographical area: AZ, NM, CO, WY, NE, SD, ND, MN.
• Minimum of 3 years of medical sales experience with proven success.
• Preferred accreditation in sales training.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly, demonstrate good judgment, and make sound decisions.
• Proven capability to present to individuals or larger audiences.
• Exceptional technical knowledge regarding product usage and features.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to sell successfully in a dynamic environment.
• Open to coaching, ongoing personal development, and constructive feedback.
• Proven track record of working effectively within a team.
• Adequate computer skills to communicate and present information using software applications, including email and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required for travel by car.
