This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate opportunities for the sale of Spatial Proteomic (Hyperion®) and CyTOF® products, along with lab services, instruments, accessories, and consumables to both public and private sectors.
• Operate independently with Standard BioTools business partners to optimize revenue growth prospects.
• Oversee, organize, and enhance business development within the designated territory.
• Achieve sales objectives, provide accurate forecasts, and manage budgets and expenses efficiently.
• Formulate account sales strategies and coordinate activities within targeted accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales management to discover and implement effective sales tools.
• Generate bi-weekly sales forecasts.
• Maintain records of communications with prospects and customers in the corporate CRM system.
• Report quarterly objectives aligned with corporate and regional goals.
• Produce weekly updates on activities, sales forecasts, lost orders information, and sales call reports.
• Monitor and analyze regional market trends to uncover new market opportunities.
• Engage in account-based marketing initiatives, scientific conferences, tradeshows, and field support activities.
• Convey goals, competitive activities, challenges, and achievements to the manager.
• Travel within the assigned territory as needed for field sales interactions and related tasks.
• Assist in the launch of potential future products.
• Cultivate technical knowledge and application expertise regarding assigned product lines.
• B.S. Degree (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or a minimum of 5+ years of successful field sales experience in the Life Science sector (capital equipment, lab services, and consumables).
• Comprehension of the business segment and economic driving factors.
• Analytical skills to interpret trends and dissect industry data.
• Capacity to adapt to changing sales responsibilities and a dynamic corporate environment.
• Exceptional time management, territory management, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% within the assigned territory.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional, ethical, and moral manner.
