This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Drive sales and expand the customer base for OrthAlign's innovative medical-device solutions within Michigan's hip and knee replacement sector.
• Travel across the region to connect with surgeons, demonstrate products, conduct trials, facilitate educational labs, train fellows and residents, enhance growth with current distributors, recruit new agents, and onboard new users.
• Boost sales and utilization of KneeAlign, UniAlign, and HipAlign offerings.
• Deliver primary clinical training and education to clients while sharing technical product knowledge.
• Collaborate with the manager to create regional sales objectives, strategies, and execution plans.
• Educate, mentor, and guide users on the effective application of the technology.
• Oversee sales reports, sales activities, inventory management, instrument set turnovers, expense reports, and other administrative responsibilities promptly.
• MUST HAVE a minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic sales (preferably in hip and knee), implants, enabling technologies, or capital sales of orthopedic products.
• At least 2 years of sales experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of orthopedics, particularly in hip and knee replacements.
• BA/BS degree is preferred.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Proven success in increasing sales and acquiring new customers.
• Expertise in all major operating room procedures, demonstrating confidence as a partner and product expert in the OR.
• Familiarity with territory markets and the healthcare system.
• Strong understanding of the sales process within both hospital and ASC environments, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the orthopedic market, especially enabling technologies such as robotics and navigation.
• Solid understanding of partial, primary, and revision knee/hip replacement procedures.
• Experience and success working with VAC and product approval committees.
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment, adapting to various locations.
• Team-oriented mindset, prioritizing customers and colleagues over personal interests.
