This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Expand and oversee Jellycat's visibility within the Quebec City area.
• Foster robust relationships with retailers to enhance brand awareness.
• Ensure accounts adhere to Jellycat's merchandising and brand expectations.
• Identify and secure new opportunities within the luxury retail sector.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to comprehend account tiers and establish travel itineraries.
• Achieve sales growth and meet budgetary objectives.
• Assess existing retailers against merchandising and brand criteria.
• Manage account closures for retailers that fail to meet Jellycat standards.
• Engage store staff to advocate for the brand.
• Introduce, showcase, and sell new collections.
• Ensure accurate in-store visual merchandising and product displays.
• Promote and participate in events hosted by retailers.
• Provide in-store and customer training regarding products and brand awareness.
• Monitor compliance with brand guidelines.
• Deliver quarterly management updates using PowerPoint.
• Offer insights on new products, visual merchandising, and customer interactions.
• Document account enhancements with photographs.
• Place orders using MarketTime or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Generate retailer-specific reports through Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Occasionally travel to support accounts, meet business needs, and assist team initiatives.
• Proficiency in both French and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Over 3 years of experience as a bilingual Territory Sales Manager, preferably in a luxury or premium brand.
• Must reside in Quebec City, Quebec, within the designated territory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comprehensive understanding of retail and gift market trends.
• Skill in cultivating strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Capability to merchandise products in-store utilizing POS materials and brand standards.
• Moderate proficiency in Excel for reporting, forecasting, and financial planning purposes.
• Proficient in PowerPoint for conducting quarterly business reviews.
• Creative mindset coupled with solid decision-making abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Genuine passion for Jellycat, its characters, and its brand.
• Commitment to embodying Jellycat as a true brand ambassador.
• Ability to excel in a field-based sales position and contribute effectively to a high-performing team.
