This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Expand and oversee Jellycat’s presence throughout the Montreal region.
• Cultivate robust relationships with retailers and enhance brand visibility.
• Ensure that accounts adhere to Jellycat's merchandising and brand criteria.
• Identify and secure new luxury retail partnerships.
• Assist with in-store product training and events.
• Represent Jellycat and advocate for brand awareness within current territory accounts.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to comprehend account tiers and establish travel itineraries for in-person retailer visits.
• Achieve sales growth and meet budget objectives.
• Assess retailers against merchandising and brand standards, including the closure of non-compliant accounts.
• Engage store staff to promote the brand effectively.
• Launch, present, and sell new collections.
• Ensure proper visual merchandising and product display according to Marketing directives.
• Encourage participation in retailer events.
• Provide in-store/customer product and brand training.
• Monitor compliance with brand guidelines.
• Deliver quarterly management updates via PowerPoint.
• Offer feedback on new products, visual merchandising, and customer interactions.
• Document account improvements with photographs.
• Process orders using MarketTime or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Generate retailer-specific reports through Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Over 3 years of experience as a bilingual Territory Sales Manager, preferably in a luxury or premium brand context.
• Reside in Montreal, Quebec, within the designated territory.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and manage various deadlines.
• Solid comprehension of retail and gift market trends.
• Ability to foster and sustain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Capability to merchandise products in-store using POS materials and brand guidelines.
• Moderate proficiency in Excel for reporting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Proficient in PowerPoint for conducting quarterly business reviews.
• Experience with a luxury or premium brand and knowledge of premium brand positioning.
• Creative mindset accompanied by strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Passion for Jellycat, its characters, and its brand identity.
• Dedication to representing Jellycat as a genuine brand ambassador.
• Ability to excel in a field-based sales role and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Adaptable, personable, positive, and collaborative approach.
