This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Analyze, develop, and implement sales strategies throughout the contiguous United States.
• Propel revenue growth through effective account management, business development, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to enhance market presence.
• Provide solutions that align with customer and business requirements.
• Oversee and enhance regional sales activities and selling capabilities.
• Track regional sales objectives and performance metrics.
• Formulate forecasts, sales strategies, and go-to-market approaches.
• Examine market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects.
• Develop and implement account strategies aimed at long-term customer engagement and profitable expansion.
• Sustain and grow existing customer accounts.
• Nurture new account prospects within the designated territory.
• Establish relationships with customer decision-makers, ensuring that products are specified and maintained in applications and projects.
• Act as the primary sales contact for designated national accounts.
• Lead pricing negotiations, contract discussions, and facilitate purchase agreements.
• Address customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams.
• Align sales materials and digital marketing efforts with customer and market needs.
• Organize and participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
• Represent Franklin Electric with professionalism while promoting products, services, and capabilities.
• Provide market intelligence and customer insights for product development and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activities, and account information.
• Monitor nationwide performance and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Conduct utility industry system project estimation tasks.
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and business updates for leadership review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer projects, product launches, and business initiatives.
• Travel 50% within the specified region.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Management, Marketing, Engineering Technology, or a comparable field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in sales, product management, business development, or a similar field.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to build and maintain customer relationships and influence key decision-makers.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Competence in making sound business decisions that impact customer relationships and business outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in selling technical, industrial, electrical, utility, or infrastructure-related products.
• Familiarity with working with distributors, utilities, engineering firms, or industrial clients.
• Experience in developing territory growth strategies and executing regional sales plans.
• Knowledge of contract negotiations, forecasting, and sales performance analysis.
