This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Accountable for fostering new business growth and enhancing broker relationships within the small business sector.
• Cultivate and expand broker relationships through consistent field visits, collaborative selling efforts, and ongoing engagement.
• Provide impactful product presentations to brokers, employers, and industry partners.
• Represent the organization at industry events, broker meetings, and local market engagements.
• Maintain extensive market knowledge, including competitor positioning and pricing trends.
• Identify and secure new small-business medical groups.
• Monitor and report pipeline activities in CRM; evaluate sales performance and market insights.
• Collaborate with underwriting, client management, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 - 6 years of relevant sales experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 - 8 years of relevant sales experience.
• Valid health and life insurance license within 90 days of hire.
• Proven track record of sales success in small group or level-funded health plans.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Strategic and consultative approach to sales.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with Dynamics CRM is preferred.
