This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, coach, and nurture a regional team comprising machinery sales representatives and aftermarket sales/service personnel.
• Set performance objectives, sales strategies, and plans for professional development.
• Promote cooperation between machinery and aftermarket teams to provide comprehensive solutions for customers.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies for capital equipment and aftermarket service lines.
• Evaluate market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to pinpoint business opportunities.
• Oversee key account management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with marketing and product management on regional projects, national campaigns, and product launches.
• Drive new machinery sales by identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new customers in the plastics processing sector.
• Advocate for aftermarket services, including spare parts, service agreements, machine retrofits, and training initiatives.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and technical conferences.
• Manage regional sales budgets, forecasts, and control expenses.
• Monitor and report on bookings, profit margins, and market share growth.
• Ensure profitable sales expansion and compliance with pricing and discounting policies.
• Maintain relationships with OEMs, molders, processors, and key decision-makers throughout the territory.
• Serve as the customer's voice to internal teams to foster product and service enhancements.
• Ensure a seamless customer journey from the initial sale to post-installation support.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in capital equipment sales within the plastics industry or industrial manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing sales teams and meeting growth targets.
• Strong technical knowledge of plastics processing machinery, including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or thermoforming.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region (50%).
• Proven ability to increase both machinery and aftermarket sales revenue.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaborative skills.
• Strategic thinker with a practical approach to customer engagement.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and initiative.
