This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement annual regional sales strategies to meet sales objectives.
• Lead corporate sales efforts and oversee regional performance metrics.
• Track and analyze sales trends, competitive landscape, and areas for enhancement.
• Supervise Manufacturer’s Representatives and wholesalers, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Establish performance targets for Rep Firms and offer coaching, training, and assistance.
• Reassign territory responsibilities and provide training as necessary.
• Foster growth in major accounts and develop channel partner relationships.
• Engage in trade shows, conferences, and strategic sales planning activities.
• Contribute to product innovation, market evaluations, and special initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance processes and execute projects.
• Train team members on sales techniques and customer engagement processes.
• Utilize Quick Response Manufacturing principles to refine workflow and enhance quality.
• Maintain strong connections with representatives, distributors, and internal sales teams.
• Lead a regional sales team based in the Southeast US, driving business growth, market share, and brand recognition.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline is essential.
• At least three years of relevant experience in a technical sales role.
• Familiarity with sales management practices and methodologies.
• Proficient in various computer software applications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time (including overnight trips).
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation.
• Comfortable in technical settings, preferably with HVAC or engineering background.
• Capable of managing, motivating, and ensuring accountability among Representatives and distributors.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to cultivate professional relationships.
• Proficient in identifying issues, opportunities, and making timely, effective decisions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with employees and customers, as well as performing administrative duties.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Eagerness to identify personal knowledge gaps and pursue self-education.
• Previous experience with enthalpic wheel and/or enthalpic plate energy recovery ventilators is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales management is advantageous.
• Remote, field-based position working from a home office.
• Approximately 50% travel required, including day trips, overnight stays, and air travel.
