This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the execution of sales initiatives within the region
• Cultivate talent in the field
• Enhance the market strategy
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie standards, franchise goals, and stakeholder expectations
• Convert franchise goals into sales strategies, field plans, and agreed-upon actions
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber talent
• Foster a high-performance team and organizational culture
• Exhibit extensive market knowledge across sectors, geographical regions, and franchises, including managed markets and payer dynamics
• Transform quantitative and qualitative insights into strategic planning, field execution, and decision-making
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to leadership teams, regional teams, the direct franchise, cross-functional partners, field teams, and franchises
• Identify strategic actions for the franchise and ensure delivery of significant top-line and relevant bottom-line results
• Align strategy and planning with external market dynamics, customer segments, and enterprise priorities
• Operate a personal vehicle or company car or truck, or a powered material handling piece of equipment
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required
• Proven experience in sales management with a successful record of leading teams within the pharmaceutical sector
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, and marketing
• Capability to establish a vision and strategic direction
• Ability to inspire and cultivate success in individuals and teams
• Experience in project management
• Proven networking and partnership skills across functional areas

• Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to secure and maintain access to facilities and organizations
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the required HCIR credentials
• Several years of cross-functional commercial pharmaceutical experience beyond traditional sales leadership is preferred
