
Regional Sales Director – First Line Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard Customer Experience Managers (CXMs)
• Develop and guide the team in executing regional business strategies and plans
• Achieve regional and national objectives set by clients
• Oversee performance, development, and retention of CXMs
• Provide training, coaching, follow-up, and growth opportunities in both field and virtual settings
• Serve as the liaison between Sanofi Joint Health and IQVIA for operational and Human Resources requirements
• Assist in planning and executing training sessions and client meetings
• Review and authorize expense reports while ensuring adherence to expense policies
• Supervise the appropriate use of approved client resources
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry, client relations, and IQVIA's business practices, policies, and procedures
• Report to the NSD and collaborate across IQVIA and with the client to achieve sales targets
• Represent Sanofi Joint Health by providing credible education, information, and professional support
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited institution
• Over 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales sector
• At least 3 years of experience in Sales leadership
• Experience in Key Account Management within hospital, Long Term Care, or Business to Business environments
• A minimum of 1 year of Buy & Bill experience
• Experience with contracting in IDNs and hospitals
• Preferred experience working with a Contract Sales Organization (CSO)
• Previous experience in the visco supplement market is preferred
• Strong technological skills with the ability to demonstrate leadership and sales capabilities via virtual platforms
• Proficient in direct communication with clients to ensure achievement of goals and objectives
• Strong business acumen with the ability to convey and report detailed information
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Willingness to travel as necessary
• Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, creative problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities
• Skillful in prioritizing and multitasking
• Integrity, sound judgment, decision-making, collaboration, adaptability, customer orientation, and accountability are essential
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
