This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee and inspire a high-achieving team of Strategic Account Managers and Virology Care Specialists.
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies while establishing a vision for success in the region.
• Responsibly promote Invivyd products to targeted healthcare providers and academic institutions.
• Foster a high-performance coaching culture that nurtures talent and drives outcomes.
• Implement sales strategies aimed at meeting and surpassing revenue and growth targets while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with key accounts, healthcare practitioners, and academic institutions to enhance and retain business relationships.
• Provide real-time coaching to team members in the field, focusing on skill enhancement and guidance.
• Advocate for growth, career advancement, readiness, professionalism, compliance, and ongoing learning.
• Serve as the local link between Sales and other corporate divisions.
• Oversee financial and field-staff resources as well as manage area expense budgets.
• Stimulate demand while aligning with long-term sales and profitability goals.
• Lead team performance through effective team building, coaching, business planning, training, motivation, and management.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the biopharma, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
• Over 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams within the life sciences sector.
• Must possess a current, valid state driver's license and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check.
• Familiarity with reimbursement processes, buy-and-bill practices, specialty pharmacies, IDNs, and federal channels.
• Willingness to be in the field for 4 full days each week and travel by car and airplane as necessary.
• Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards governing interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Proven track record in leading pharmaceutical sales teams is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape and payer dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, recruiting, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Capability to adapt to changing market conditions and promote continuous improvement.
• Dedication to engagement and ethical behavior.
