Regional Property Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operations of a portfolio of student housing properties.

• Implement strategic goals established by the Regional Vice President.

• Evaluate risks, develop strategies, and execute solutions in collaboration with teams.

• Manage staffing functions including recruitment, hiring, training, and development.

• Promote corporate initiatives among community team members.

• Conduct property visits for inspections focusing on curb appeal, safety, operations, capital improvements, risk management, common areas, and brand consistency.

• Direct the processes for move-ins, move-outs, and turnovers.

• Address property emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.

• Mentor team members and enhance employee engagement.

• Analyze occupancy rates, delinquency, collections, bad debt, budgets, variances, capital expenditures, contracts, and overall financial performance.

• Formulate strategies for leasing, marketing, sales, and revenue generation.

• Lead weekly sales meetings and work closely with Regional Revenue Managers.

• Supervise marketing efforts, conduct market analyses, review revenue proformas, and establish leasing goals.

• Uphold Scion’s customer experience philosophy and maintain brand integrity.

• Address escalated resident complaints effectively.

• Utilize technology to identify recurring property issues and implement enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in property management.

• Direct supervisory experience is essential.

• Previous multi-site management experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems.

• Must reside near a major hub, such as San Marcos, TX.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
