Regional Project Coordinator – MCICOM Facilities Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Coordinate Capital Investment (CI) initiatives that support either the Marine Corps Installations Command National Capital Region or Marine Corps Installations Command East.

• Monitor, assess, and draft execution-to-plan reports for MILCON, UMMC, and Demolition design awards along with budget milestones.

• Extract, validate, and align financial and project data with the broader enterprise investment strategies.

• Consolidate project tracking information for the region and integrate updates into the Integrated Master Schedule.

• Create programmatic materials such as POM issue papers, budget exhibits, and compliance documentation.

• Develop and sustain recurring execution metric reports, including weekly fiscal updates for leadership.

• Act as a primary coordination point among planners, engineers, and program offices.

• Support the Marine Corps installation portfolios by overseeing capital investment activities, consolidating project and financial data, and preparing reports for leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in program or project coordination, facility lifecycle management, facilities planning, or infrastructure analysis.

• Experience in supporting technical teams, engineers, or planners within a capital investment or portfolio management setting.

• Capability to collaborate with stakeholders to collect and monitor schedule, budget, or planning requirements.

• Knowledge of facility planning, capital investment principles, or resource prioritization practices.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting findings and recommendations to government stakeholders.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Planning, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience in coordinating facilities-related requirements tracking or planning activities within Marine Corps, Navy, or DoW organizations.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting MCICOM, NAVFAC, or other DoW facilities programs.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Minimum Clearance Required: Secret.

• Must be eligible to obtain Secret clearance.
