Regional Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Category Buyers and Purchasing Administrators.

• Implement category strategies that drive business growth and enhance operational excellence.

• Identify and drive supplier consolidation and standardization opportunities across the UK service network.

• Negotiate competitive supplier agreements, rebates, and commercial terms.

• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers to enhance service, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Serve as a senior escalation point for challenges related to suppliers.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery metrics, and procurement KPIs.

• Identify opportunities for cost-saving and value improvement through benchmarking and market analysis.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in operations, engineering, finance, and leadership to meet business objectives.

• Promote compliance, procurement governance, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in procurement within engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, or a similar technical field.

• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and integrate category-based procurement strategies across various spending areas, focusing on supplier optimization, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.

• Proven experience in leading and developing procurement teams.

• Strong expertise in supplier management and negotiation.

• Commercial awareness with the capability to balance cost, quality, and operational needs.

• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and influencing decision-making processes.

• A proactive and strategic mindset for driving change and continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of SAP and/or D365 is a plus.
