
Regional Physician – Community Outreach Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Establish and nurture connections with physicians, physician practices, practice managers, healthcare professionals, hospital networks, and community leaders within the Huntsville, Birmingham, and Atlanta areas.
• Travel regionally among various sites and nearby communities to foster relationships, support outreach initiatives, and address recruitment needs.
• Visit physician offices and healthcare organizations to present clinical research capabilities and cultivate referral connections.
• Ensure ongoing face-to-face interaction and follow-up with physician office teams.
• Collaborate with clinical research sites to identify suitable patient populations and referral prospects.
• Discover outreach opportunities and innovative methods to enhance awareness of clinical research.
• Forge partnerships with patient advocacy organizations, social and community groups, schools, retirement communities, and other local collaborators.
• Organize and participate in community events to encourage engagement and generate leads.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enrolling studies, study timelines, and protocol requirements.
• Assist in achieving recruitment, engagement, retention, and enrollment targets.
• Expand the potential participant database through outreach and recruitment efforts.
• Utilize technology, presentations, marketing materials, and various resources to bolster recruitment strategies and ensure timely enrollment.
• Oversee outreach projects and collaborate with site and internal teams to achieve recruitment goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification.
• Around 2+ years of pertinent experience, or a comparable combination of education, training, and directly related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to initiate and cultivate professional relationships.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, territory management, and time management.
• Capacity to prioritize multiple sites, relationships, and outreach activities effectively.
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Willingness and capability to travel regularly throughout Alabama and Georgia, including travel between assigned clinical research sites and neighboring communities.
